I was browsing You Tube Channel when my attention was stocked on a Public Service Announcement (PSA) video. This is not just ordinary video providing us information but as well as opening our mind and heart to the danger of “Texting while Driving”. There are many reported accidents due to this act and now, public must be aware about its real danger on the road. I’ve watched the video and came to this thought of posting my idea about the campaign. Most teens that are on the road are not aware about the danger that texting while driving brings and it is just best to share information to the public.

Yah, right. We are modern and many are pleased about gadgets and things which are around us. As we turn to be addicted on such these devices, don’t ever forget to remind yourself that it is still best to value life and not the things that you own. Pay attention on the road while driving and not on the messages or graphics which are sent or stored on your phone. Life is most valuable asset that we have and we need to learn how to love it. Gadgets or devices if cracked or damaged can be repaired or changed. But life?? You can’t ever see it displayed on store or shop or can be browsed on the Internet for the latest, we only have ONE LIFE so it best to know its importance and avoid messy texting while you are driving.. Why not pay attention on the road and not on phone? Save your life and lives of others.

2010 FIFA World Cup – A Success!

Well, well, well, its been a while and now, 2010 FIFA World Cup has ended. As for the winners of this competition we have Spain in the 1st place, Netherlands as 2nd and Deutschland in the 3rd place.

If you are not aware about this World Cup, it is best for you to check this out. The 2010 FIFA World Cup was the 19th FIFA World Cup, the world championship for international association football teams. It took place in South Africa from 11 June to 11 July 2010. The bidding process for hosting the tournament finals was open only to African nations; in 2004, the international football federation, FIFA, selected South Africa over Egypt and Morocco to become the first African nation to host the finals. The matches were played in ten stadiums in nine host cities around the country, with the final played at the Soccer City stadium in the capital city, Johannesburg.

The total prize money on offer for the tournament was confirmed by FIFA as $420 million (including payments of $40m to domestic clubs), a 60 percent increase on the 2006 tournament.[26] Before the tournament, each of the 32 entrants receive $1 million for preparation costs. Once at the tournament, the prize money would be distributed as follows:

$8 million – To each team exiting after the group stage (16 teams)

$9 million – To each team exiting after the round of 16 (8 teams)

$14 million – To each team exiting after the quarter-finals (4 teams)

$18 million – Fourth placed team

$20 million – Third placed team

$24 million – Runner up

$30 million – Winner

In a first for the World Cup, FIFA made payments to the domestic clubs of the players representing their national teams at the tournament. This saw a total of $40 million paid to domestic clubs. WOW!

Nokia N8 Issue

I am really a big fan of Nokia phones, though I am also a Nokia user. But when I am searching and reading gadget news, my attention fall into this issue about a Moscow-based blogger Eldar Murtazin who posted a review of Nokia’s forthcoming N8 smartphone on his site mobile site. At first, I find it just an ordinary issue concerning bloggers. But when I read the whole article, I found Nokia was so much concern about their new phone and called it a baby. Yes, they posted an article with the title “One of our children is missing” on their official nokia blog. On the post, Nokia are calling on the Russian police to get their phone back. When you are interested in reading the Nokia’s post, here is it;

That is why yesterday, as I am sure many of you have read, wasn’t much fun for us. Unfortunately, an early prototype made its way to someone that wasn’t supposed to have it, and his early first impressions of the device and its software spread like wildfire. Buried deep down in the blogger’s salacious headlines about the software not being ready, was the most important point. This is a very early, pre-production prototype with dated software that is not yet ready. So the site’s comments that the software ‘felt premature’ is probably one of the more blindingly obvious things you will read this year.

This wasn’t the first time a Nokia product appeared online before it had been announced. This particular site openly flaunts its ability to acquire our property. Yes, we have to take a look at ourselves, and we are diligently hunting down the source of these leaks. Frankly, we pride ourselves on trust at Nokia, and someone has greatly betrayed that.

However, whilst we are determined to protect our intellectual property and maintain the surprise when a shiny new gadget is introduced, we are not going to do so at the expense of the working conditions we enjoy here at Nokia. We are not the Secret Police, and we want to maintain our culture of openness. We won’t let days like yesterday alter that.

So now that the official news is out, we’d like our prototype back. Please.
